Quite surprisingly, I can play the game on medium/high details with a good framerate, but I did notice that textures are not loaded properly at times. For instance it will load the textures near my starting point, but it will only load low res textures of nearby areas. I am not talking about LOD textures, just very low quality textures.. Only fix this far has been quicksaving and quickloading. Reloading the area will fix it..locally. It will then show low res textures at some other place.
Now I did see a screenshot of the early leaks, where everything but a table was displayed in high res. Also, a German magazine was reporting that apparently there is a bug with texture loading and that it would ask Bethesda for further input. Could it be that this is a bug? Or is it some kind of optimization for GPUs with too little VRAM?
Mar 27, 2017 I bought the new Sapphire Nitro+ RX 470 (8GB) and when I play Fallout 4, I start to see rainbow textures or even blue textues in some surfaces (NPC faces, materials, trees, bushes.)It`s really annoying. My graphic card isn't overheated because the average temperature is 70ºC.Other games like Need For Speed, Battlefield 4, Unravel. Work properly. Weird glitch happening with grass. Then i saw a really weird texture in the grass and decided to re load the game. Basically I've run out of ideas for how to fix this. I have somewhat limited modding experience with Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Skyrim on PC. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Feb 14, 2020 Nope. Grass textures are textures for grass, ground textures are textures for ground. In general though it's good practice to load your ground textures higher and let your grass textures and ESPs overwrite, just in case. Incidentally, the Greener Pastures version of.

Apr 24, 2020 Should work with any grass/green mod you choose that adheres to the 'no grass' terrain texture spec. If you are using a mod that adds grass even where 'no grass' is specified: My fixes will only be partially effective. Get Flecked's grass mod patches that correct mesh/texture compliance to the 'no grass' spec in the terrain editor.
Hello everyone!
I've been having some texture issues with Fallout 4. Some textures morph with other ones, some get glitched and look very strange..
I've no idea what could be causing these issues since it happens exclusively in Fallout 4, every other game I have works 'fine'. I tried under-clocking my GPU, re-seating it, reinstalling drivers, etc. I have no viruses or malware and neither the CPU or GPU are overheating. This is a very frustrating issue since it happens very randomly and I have to restart the game to get rid of it.
It happens randomly, after around 5 minutes of playtime or after 2 hours. It is not specific to a type of texture, as it can happen to anything, no matter size or type. It does go away if I get close to the object, but as soon as I move away it reappears. I'm guessing it has something to do with distance-specific textures getting corrupted when loading? I must also mention that this happens whether the game is modded or not. I did a fresh install recently to prepare for the 1.3 patch and it still happens.
I have no clue how to get rid of this! Any and all help is appreciated. I have made an album on Imgur with screenshots of the issues here.
My specs in case anyone needs them:

Fallout 4 Buildings Disappear
I rolled back from Crimson, since it both didn't fix the issues and made my PC very unstable. I got sick of dealing with constant GPU crashing in games, especially in Fallout 4. Catalyst is stable for me.
